Empowering Youth.Strengthening Families.Building Healthier Communities.

Building stronger, healthier communities.

Since 2021, we’ve worked to build physical, mental, and emotional health in youth and families — through mentorship, athletics, health and cancer screenings, and service.

Who We Are

The Wallace Foundation, established in 2021 by Coach Sean Wallace, is dedicated to promoting awareness of physical, mental, and emotional health. Its mission is to instill confidence, foster individual responsibility, and encourage the development of life-enhancing goals, enabling individuals to realize their full potential in great health.

Impact at a Glance

  • More than 5,000 students and families reached
  • More than 200 youth mentored

  • More than 20 civic engagement initiatives

The Four Pillars

The Wallace Foundation is built on four pillars. They guide every program we run, every partnership we build, and every dollar we invest in our community.

The Man Behind the Foundation

Coach Sean Wallace

A champion athlete at Southern University, a coach and educator in Baton Rouge for over a decade, and a minister and mentor to hundreds of people - Sean founded this Foundation in 2021 to give underserved families what he had spent his life giving his players: attention, structure, and belief.

He passed on February 20, 2025. His legacy lives on as the work continues in his name.
